Some decisions are better made together. If you and your partner are seriously looking at Nicaragua — for relocation, retirement, a second home, or a long-term investment — this tour was built for exactly that conversation.

From July 27 to August 1, 2026, the two of you join a small group of no more than twelve travelers for six days of genuine, ground-level access to what life in Nicaragua looks like. You’ll leave with real answers, not a sales pitch.

What you’ll see and do:

The tour opens in Managua and moves fast — Mercado Huembes, Volcán Masaya by night, the hilltop overlook at Catarina, the ceramics workshops of San Juan de Oriente, and an afternoon settling into colonial Granada. A private chocolate-making session at Bate Bate. A boat through the famous islets of Lake Nicaragua. A night at Las Nubes El Crucero, a working farm retreat in the cloud forest above the capital.

Then three nights at Gran Pacifica Resort on the Pacific coast — the property ECI has been developing for years. You’ll tour the grounds, talk to the people who live and work there, sit in on a private presentation from a residency and real estate attorney, and get honest answers about what ownership actually involves. On the way back, a tour of the Flor de Caña rum distillery, one of Central America’s most storied producers.

What’s included for both of you:

All breakfasts, airport transfer, all ground transportation throughout the tour, bilingual guides, the Bate Bate chocolate workshop, the islets boat tour, the Gran Pacifica property tour, the attorney Q&A on residency and investment, evening bonfire and stargazing, campfire music night, golf cart rental at the resort, snacks throughout, and a 10% discount on horseback riding and spa services — for both of you.

Most lunches and dinners are on your own, which gives you the freedom to explore at your own pace and eat the way locals do.
