Costa Rica Lifestyle & Investment Tour

Our private Nicaragua Tour gives you an insider’s look at life, property, and opportunity in one of Central America’s most underrated countries. With a bilingual guide, a local attorney, and a small group of like-minded explorers.

Seven Days, Two Perspectives

What it feels like to be here. What it looks like to live here.

Seven days designed to help you experience Costa Rica from two perspectives: what it feels like to be here, and what it could look like to live and own here. From the energy of San José to the beaches and jungles of the Caribbean coast, the tropical highlands of Grand View Estates, and the everyday places expats rely on, this tour goes beyond traditional sightseeing.

The Itinerary

Arrive in San José, settle into a comfortable hotel near the airport, free afternoon, optional welcome dinner.

Morning session on residency, banking, and Pura Vida lifestyle. Private charter flight over mountains and rainforest to Limón. Lunch and first taste of the Caribbean, then south to Puerto Viejo. Settle into a beachfront jungle resort by the sea.

Visit a wildlife rescue center. Hike a beachside jungle trail in Manzanillo. Free time in Puerto Viejo. Dinner and a taste of local nightlife.

Travel inland to the tropical highlands. Catered lunch, walk the land, meet people connected to the community, Q&A on building and owning property. Evening at a local hotel.

Visit a grocery store, pharmacy, bank, hardware store, and medical facilities in the town near Grand View Estates. Travel back to San José, check into an upscale hotel in Escazú.

Visit a leading private hospital to learn about healthcare access. Guided Sights & Bites market tour. Free time in Escazú. Farewell dinner.

Depart for home or extend independently.

What Past Tours Guests Are Saying

When I began exploring the possibility of making Nicaragua my home, I wanted to get a feel for the country and whether it was safe… I have since bought property and can’t wait to move. There is something truly special about Nicaragua, its beauty and its people.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Nicaragua Discovery Tour. The itinerary was great, but it was the time spent with the people that made the experience so special. I especially loved our time at Gran Pacifica, and made the decision to purchase. I’ve been back since and felt completely validated in my decision. Can’t wait to return this October.

This trip answers the most important question "Could I Live Here?"

The week is built in three layers, and you get all three. Not a sales presentation with a beach view.

The part you’ll tell stories about

A private charter flight over mountains and rainforest. A wildlife rescue center, a jungle trail that ends at the water, dinner and music in Puerto Viejo.

The part nobody else shows you

The grocery store, the pharmacy, the bank, the hardware store, a private hospital. Residency and banking explained by people who did it. This is where the real decision gets made.

The part you can act on

A full day at Grand View Estates in the tropical highlands: walk the land, meet the community, ask hard questions about building and owning. No pressure to decide anything on the trip.

Not Ready to Book: What Life in Costa Rica Actually Looks Like

Not a sales presentation. A candid, conversation-style session between Lora, who lived it on the ground, and Betsy, asking the same questions you would as a first-timer, including the parts that don’t make the brochure: humidity, road conditions, bureaucracy, the real cost of living, and what healthcare looks like outside the Central Valley.

We’d rather you go in with realistic expectations than a highlight reel. This session covers real numbers, including cost of living, Grand View pricing, residency thresholds, and healthcare costs, plus a live Q&A drawn from questions submitted at registration.
